A workspace is a named group of connections. Every connection belongs to exactly one workspace, and the title bar shows only the connections in the workspace you have active. Switch workspaces to switch which set of connections you see.

Your default workspace

The first time you sign in, Tamery creates a personal workspace named after you (for example, Alex’s workspace) and moves your existing connections into it. You never have to set this up — it is always there, and it cannot be removed.

Switching workspaces

The workspace switcher sits in the title bar, just right of the Tamery logo.
  1. Click the workspace name to open the switcher.
  2. Pick a workspace from the list.
The connection list and command palette immediately update to show only that workspace’s connections. If you switch while viewing a connection that isn’t in the new workspace, Tamery returns you to the home screen.

Creating a workspace

Creating additional workspaces requires a Pro subscription.
  1. Open the workspace switcher.
  2. Click Create workspace.
  3. Enter a name and click Create.
The new workspace becomes active right away. New connections you create are added to whichever workspace is active at the time. Free users see the upgrade screen when they click Create workspace — the default personal workspace stays available regardless of plan.

Working offline

Your workspaces are stored on your device, so the switcher keeps working without an internet connection. You can switch workspaces offline, and connections you create go to the workspace you had active — they reach your account the next time Tamery is online. Which workspace is active is remembered per device, so each of your computers can sit in a different workspace. Creating a workspace needs an internet connection, because Tamery checks your subscription first.
Workspaces are currently personal to your account. Inviting teammates and sharing connections across members is planned for a future release.
