The Definitions view lists schema objects beyond tables — enums, indexes, constraints, functions, triggers, and policies. It adapts to the database engine, showing only the object types that engine supports.

Definition types

Enums / Sets

PostgreSQL ENUM types; MySQL SET/ENUM columns. Shows the name and allowed values.

Indexes

Indexed columns, index type (B-tree, Hash, GiST, …), and uniqueness.

Constraints

Foreign keys and table constraints (CHECK, UNIQUE), including referencing/referenced columns.

Policies

PostgreSQL RLS policies, MySQL table privileges, SQL Server security predicates, ClickHouse row policies.

Functions

Functions/procedures (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server): signature, return type, language, body.

Triggers

Triggers (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server): table, event, timing, and called function.
Functions and Triggers are not available for ClickHouse. Policies exist for all engines but mean different things per engine (see above).
